What the Courses for Teachers of Spanish / ELE Professors are
The courses for ELE professors are
specific courses for teaching Spanish, for native and non-native speakers. These courses are made for professional teachers who wish to perfect the Spanish language and at the same time work on the techniques, know the different manuals of ELE, create their own lesson plans, etc. They contribute on reflecting the role of the Spanish teacher in the classroom and
on the didactics itself of the ELE teaching.
Content of the courses
The content of the courses is very diverse and consists of:
- a theoretical portion: description of levels, functional contents, singular didactics...
- programming workshops and developing materials
- real practice and simulation with students
How the courses are taught
Depending on each student and his particular interests,
workshops of long or short duration will be organized. Problems and questions will be dealt with when necessary:
curriculum design (focusing on adults, teenagers or children),
oral practice, grammatical problems, techniques in solving problems...
Also as distance learning courses
The courses can also be taken
through distance learning at home: all class material is provided and teachers schedule
weekly tutoring sessions.
Duration of the courses
The courses are for
50 hours in 2 weeks: 25 hours per week.
Next courses dates
- March 2012: 12th to 23rd March.
- July 2012: 9th to 20th July.
- November 2012: 12th to 23rd November.
Number of students per group
Maximum number is
10 students per group.
Compatibility with other courses
This course is
fully compatible with any other Tía Tula Spanish course, like an intensive course or a one-to-one course, for instance.
Price
Until 31/12/2011, the official price of the classroom course is 390€ and the official price of the distance learning course is 240€ (final price in this case because this course has no additional registration fees). Starting from 1/1/2012, the price of the classroom course will be 440€ and the price of the distance learning course will be 290€.
Class material is included in the price.
