General conditions
  1. The minimum age to apply for the program is 18 years old. If you are below this age you can still join the program, but you would need to be accompanied by a tutor or teacher.
  2. In order to join the program your current level of Spanish needs to be A2 or B1 (intermediate). You can find out what your level is by taking these tests:

  3. Registration deadline: Registration runs from March 15th to June 30th or earlier if all the places have been booked. You need to fill in the registration form and pay the program price in full in order to register successfully. We advise you to register as soon as possible so that you can choose your preferred type of accommodation. The more time passes, the more likely it is that the desired accommodation is not available anymore. Please, contact us at info@tiatula.com for further information and to register.
  4. The method of payment is via bank transfer. We will provide you with our bank details when we receive your registration.
  5. You can choose your preferred type of accommodation among these options:
    • Accommodation in host family: you will have your own room or share it with a same-sex student. Half board included.
    • Accommodation in a residence: you will have your own room or share it with a same-sex student. Breakfast included.
    • Accommodation in a shared flat: you will have your own room. Meals are not included; you will need to do the shopping and prepare your own meals, as well as washing your clothes and keep the flat clean and in good condition.
    • If you prefer a type of accommodation different than the three mentioned above, please ask us. You will have to bear the additional costs.
    • For some activities, at least four students have to be signed up for so that the activity can take place. Once within the two weeks at each school, you can sign up for other activities which are not part of the program if you will.
    • The program does not include transportation from your place of origin to Salamanca, nor transportation from Santander to your place of origin.
    • Transportation from Salamanca to Santander is included in the price of the program. You will travel by public bus. Departure time is 8:00 h (subject to changes by the bus company). If you miss this bus you will need to travel to Santander by your own means.
  6. A minimum attendance of 80% is required to receive a course completion certificate.
  7. Cancellation and refunds policy: If you cancel your participation in the program for any reason, you will be entitled to the following refund, depending on the date of cancellation:
    • If you cancel on or before 31/05/2015 you will be entitled to a refund of 70% of the program price.
    • If you cancel between 31/05/2015 and 21/06/2015, you will be entitled to a refund of 50% of the program price.
    • If you cancel after 21/06/2015 you will not be entitled to any refund.
