What are DELE and SIELE Exams?

They are the most important and widely recognised international certificates of Spanish language proficiency.

DELE exam

In this global exam (that tests all areas of linguistic proficiency) you will obtain an official qualification of your degree of competence and mastery of the Spanish language. Of course, you are only examined in the level that you choose: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 or C2. It is awarded by the Cervantes Institute on behalf of the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training of Spain, and complies with the Common European Framework of Reference.

SIELE exam

It is a single multilevel exam (there are not different exams for different levels) which certifies your degree of competency in Spanish and is taken online at accredited exam centres. Aimed at students and professionals from around the world, it is promoted by the Cervantes Institute, the National Autonomous University of Mexico, the University of Salamanca and the University of Buenos Aires. This exam also complies with the Common European Framework of Reference.

Tia Tula is an official examination centre for DELE and SIELE exams.

2025 DELE exams and their preparation courses at Tía Tula

These are the 2025 DELE exams dates and their corresponding preparation courses at Tía Tula:

• February 14, 2025 (levels A2) - Preparation course from January 20 to February 13, 2025.
• April 4, 2025 (levels A1, A2, B1, B2, C1) - Preparation course from March 10 to April 03, 2025.
• May 23, 2025 (levels A1 y A2/B1 for schools) - No Preparation course, only exam.
• May 24, 2025 (levels A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2) - Preparation course from April 28 to May 23, 2025.
• July 11, 2025 (levels A2, B1, B2, C1) - Preparation course from June 16 to July 10, 2025.
• September 12, 2025 (levels A2) - Preparation course from August 18 to September 11, 2025.
• October 17, 2025 (levels A2, B1, B2) - Preparation course from September 22 to October 16, 2025.
• November 21, 2025 (levels A1 y A2/B1 for schools) - No Preparation course, only exam.
• November 22, 2025 (levels A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2) - Preparation course from October 27 to November 21, 2025.

SIELE exams and your preparation course at Tia Tula

SIELE exams do not have fixed dates: it is the student that chooses the date with the examining centre (Tia Tula). The dates of the preparation courses are changeable: find out the current dates by contacting info@tiatula.com.

Content of the DELE/SIELE exam preparation courses

The DELE/SIELE exam preparation courses at Tía Tula consist of 5 hours a day of lessons:

• 2 hours of general practice of the language
• 3 hours of specific work towards the practice of actual exercises from the DELE/SIELE exams (including timed practice exams from actual exams administered in the past, the correction of those exams and analysis of the most frequent errors), and the different skills being evaluated: Reading comprehension, listening comprehension, written expression and interaction, and spoken expression and interaction.

PLEASE NOTE: For courses with enrolments of fewer than three students Tía Tula might decide to organise the lessons like this:

• 4 hours of general intensive Spanish course
• 1 hour of specific work towards the practice of actual exercises from the DELE/SIELE exams (including timed practice exams from actual exams administered in the past, the correction of those exams and analysis of the most frequent errors), and the different skills being evaluated: Reading comprehension, listening comprehension, written expression and interaction, and spoken expression and interaction.

Course materials

The materials utilized in the courses consist of:

• Course materials tailored to the different levels and aiming at the practice of the kind of exercises that can be found in the exam, as well as the skills being evaluated.
• Previous exams from the Institute Cervantes.

The team of teachers who deliver the course have a lot of teaching experience and their students have always attained great results.

Duration of the courses

The duration of the courses is 100 hours of classes in total: 25 hours/week for 4 weeks (5 hours a day).

PLEASE NOTE: When the exam is on a Friday (not on a Saturday), the preparation course will have one day less (5 hours less of classes), since the preparation courses always start on a Monday.

Number of students per group

Maximum number is 10 students per group.

Price

The price of the course is 890 euros but now, as a special offer, if you complete your registration (including payment) before 31/12/2024 you will have a 10% discount, so the price will be 801€ euros. This offer is not to be combined with other offers. It does not include the registration fee (50€), nor the cost of the exam.
