CI : Intensive Spanish Language Course
|
4 hours daily of Grammar and Practical Conversation (spoken and written). With this course we strive to cover a variety of real situations (those a study would confront daily) through the knowledge of vocabulary, grammatical structures and set uses of the language. The method of classes at Tía Tula is totally interactive, using conversation with the students as the base of learning. It is great for students who seek to learn the language and have free time to enjoy the country.

This course provides ECTS credits awarded by the Pontifical University of Salamanca. Credits can be earned in courses from 80 hours or more (4 weeks). Students can request the corresponding certificate before starting the course (certificate issuing costs not included in the course price).

CICO : CI + Conversation
|
4 hours daily of Grammar and Practical Conversation (spoken and written) + 1 hour daily of Conversation in small groups (up to 10 people) and adapted to each level. In addition to the CI course, you have a daily conversation class in small groups. These classes reinforce the acquired skills from the CI course, focusing on practical conversation on various topics: shopping, friends, job interview, tourism... It is ideal for students less open to using the language outside of the classroom.

This course provides ECTS credits awarded by the Pontifical University of Salamanca. Credits can be earned in courses from 100 hours or more (4 weeks). Students can request the corresponding certificate before starting the course (certificate issuing costs not included in the course price).

CICC : CI + Culture and Civilization
|
4 hours daily of Grammar and Practical Conversation (spoken and written) + 1 hour daily of Spanish Culture and Civilization. In addition to the CI course, you have a daily class on Spanish Culture and Civilization. This class is a combination of History, Art, Geography, customs, Patron holidays, popular sayings... It is an opportunity to know the real Spanish culture. This course is for students who not only want to learn the language, but also want to understand Mediterranean culture in its Iberian slope.

This course provides ECTS credits awarded by the Pontifical University of Salamanca. Credits can be earned in courses from 100 hours or more (4 weeks). Students can request the corresponding certificate before starting the course (certificate issuing costs not included in the course price).

Super-Intensive : CI + Conversation + Voc. & Writing
|
4 hours daily of Grammar and Práctical Conversation (spoken and written) + 2 hours daily of Vocabulary and Writing + 1 daily of Conversation. This is a strictyly speaking intensive course: in addition to the intensive base course (CI), the daily schedule includes two hours of vocabulary and writing skills, and one hour of conversation. Students quickly improve their fluency and further practise all the communication skills by actively participating in class. By the end of the program, students feel more confident when using Spanish, as their knowledge has been highly reinforced. It is perfect for those who seek a substantial improvement in the short term.. The course is to be taken within one or two weeks, but it can be extended by request of the student.

One-to-one lessons
|
|
One-to-one lessons: A teacher devoted to only one student. Tailor-made Spanish lessons, adapted to the student’s level, learning pace, needs and aims to take the most advantage of every minute of class.
Two basic packages: ‘One-to-one 10’ (10h/week; 2h/day) and ‘One-to-one 20’ (20h/week; 4h/day).

Combo : CI/CICO + 1 one-to-one lesson per day
|
The Combo courses combine group classes (you can choose between a CI or a CICO course) with one-to-one lessons adapted to the student’s needs, providing targeted learning in specific skills or areas where they lack confidence. It is the ideal course for those who want to supplement a class-based course in order to keep up with the class pace, or to focus individually on specific skills or subjects of the Spanish language.
Two basic packages: ‘ Combo CI’ (5 h/day: CI course (4h/day) + 1 one-to-one lesson a day) and ‘ Combo CICO’ (6h/day: CICO course (5h/day) + 1 one-to-one lesson a day)

This course provides ECTS credits awarded by the Pontifical University of Salamanca. Credits can be earned in courses from 100 hours or more (Combo CI) (4 weeks) and 120 hours or more (Combo CICO) (4 weeks). Students can request the corresponding certificate before starting the course (certificate issuing costs not included in the course price).

Course start dates and duration
The students can join a class any Monday of the month, with the exception of those at the beginner level, that can begin their studies only at the start dates established in the Academic Calendar. These beginner level students do not have to take a level test.
Regarding duration, the student selects the amount of time they plan to spend at the center at the time of enrollment. Depending on the time available, they will advance more or less within their level and, if there is sufficient time, they may move up one or more levels within the selected course. The time required to complete a level varies for each student; the teaching team can inform the student about this even before enrollment.

Minimum level of knowledge requiredThese courses do not require a minimum level of knowledge of the Spanish language. The first day of class, at 9 in the morning, you will take a test to determine your corresponding class level. |

LevelsThe courses of are divided into 6 distinct levels: A1 (Beginner), A2 (Basic), B1 (Intermediate), B2 (Advanced), C1 (Superior) and C2 (Perfecting). |

Number of students per groupMaximum number is 10 students per group. |

Schedule of ClassesClasses are given in the morning or in the afternoon, depending on the level. |

Class durationThe estimated actual duration of each class hour is 52 minutes, such that for every 4 hours of class, there is an assigned break of 30 minutes. |
